I've put you in the mood for gifts , haven't I ?

Well I am just doing a lil shopping on Etsy and getting ready for my " All you need is Love " swap..

6 more days to join in people ..all the rules here but

In a nutshell ..

you have to sign up by 6th Feb and I'll pair you up by 7th ..
you have to send a Valentine's day card to your partner plus three things you love ( it could be a movie, book,baked goodies , jewelry , artwork , absolutely anything that you associate love with )
handmade or store bought , it should be wrapped in love .

So feel free to share the button , spread the love and join in ..

and don't forget to be back for all the fun thats starting tomorrow ..

Even as Blue valentine , the movie I watched yesterday , tore my heart .. I still believe in love ,in making it work ..and I guess I always will ..

Love to me is everything , its the soul of life ..its what keeps the fire burning !!

And therefore I kick off the Valentine day celebrations today with this - " All you need is Love Swap " ..yayyyy .. am so stoked ..

but wait , there's more in store ..

Remember this - my Love bytes feature ..well its back too .. and this time with a lil twist ..You've got to wait to see what I've planned this year but for those of you who're new here ,its the time of the year when every day for the month of Feb , a love byte is featured or simply put Love is celebrated ..I've a lot to do, lot to plan but I'll keep you posted and you ..you stay tuned :)

mention both your postal address and blog link and if you're willing to send overseas ..
you must sign up by 31st Jan and send your package by 5th Feb so everyone receives it well in time .
there's no limit to what you'd like to spend but $15 bucks is a nice number .
don't forget to include a Valentine's day card with your favorite love quote ..it just makes it so much more endearing ..not to mention personal
Also Valentine is all about the reds and pinks so put in a lil color and send three things you love ( it could be a movie, book,baked goodies , jewelry , artwork , absolutely anything that you associate love with ) ..be creative and send as much love as you can ..

Strangers are just friends waiting to happen...

Back in April this year , I had hosted a magnet swap and even though the swap wasn’t quite the raging success I’d hoped it would be , it wasn’t quite the disaster either ;) reason being I met a very special person Karina @ Peacelovecupcakeshappiness or Kary as I call her.. She was new to blogosphere and had just started her own blog.. Well, the swap led us to exchange mails and we became friends in no time.. Whoever would have thought that someone I had never met, I could end up sharing so much in common but it was real almost surreal..

Anyways while we were laughing on all the similarities we shared particularly the goofy ones, little did I know that she was also my partner in the Accessory swap that I participated in and I wouldn't be exaggerating if I told you she spoilt me , the absolute lovely accessories she sent me , the anklet , the earrings , the letter , the handbag and more .. I know all the goodness she sent my way deserved a blog post that I never got down to doing ..tsk tsk L but she literally made my day or days is more like it .. and therefore I must absolutely share this with you ..

Her lil partner in crime Miguelito recently turned 7 and here’s a little something special I sent him ..

but what made it even more special is this ..his sheer delight and joy as he unwraps each of his presents ..I had asked Kary to take some pictures so I could see for myself and she did a fabulous job coz it felt like I was right there watching him live .. and while you can check out all the photos here , on her blog , I’ll share a few favorites ..

All is well that ends well :D

Most of Saturday this weekend was in bed for me ..it was one of those days when you wake up with a headache and nothing sucks more than falling sick on a weekend !!

But Sunday saw us heading to the movie theatre to watch one of the most ' ridonkulous ' and awaited movies ..

and it wasnt in the least bit a ' cat-astrophe ' ..If you've watched the movie you surely know what I mean and didn't you just love it ?I thought that it couldnt be a more happy ever after ending and goodbye than this ..but I do wish this wasnt the last chapter ..

And then came Monday ..when I received my accessory swaps package from the lovely Karina @Peace,love and cupcakes and my ..oh my did she send me some wonderful stuff ..Im going to dedicate a whole post to it ..so you'll have to wait for that but here's a little thank you note for Kary in the meanwhile :P

hahahahaha ..no sooner I saw this one I knew I had to share it :D :D ..

I've Got Mail ..

Yohoooooo ..i've got mail ... and it came all the way from Florida ..thanks a bunch Lauren for everything you send me - the letter , the cookie , the hand soap ..

If you're wondering what's this all about , well i had participated in a mail scramble hosted by Caroline of Coeur de la .. well mail scramble is where everyone who wished to participate had to email their addresses and then you were anonymously sent one particular person's details .. and to that person you had to send a special something by mail ..

So , thanks a bunch Caroline for hosting such a fun scramble ..Infact ive enjoyed it so much ive decided to host a mail scramble for myself ..

I have always been a sucker for magnets ..its one thing i always, always buy as my keepsake and souvenir for the place i've travelled .. So all you people , how about a mail scramble involving magnets ..
