Love Byte # 14 - Love Letters

Happy Valentine's day lovies !!

I hoped to get hubs to do today's love byte but between all the packing , moving , shifting to a new place , we've had a pretty back breaking weekend and therefore no time for le blog ..

But last night as I was unpacking , sifting through old cards and letters , I found this one particular letter that has always intrigued me ...it dates back to the year 2000 ( yup don't even remind me again it's been that long :P ) ..

So , those were the good ol' days when he 'willingly' wrote me long letters but this one wasn't like a letter , it was something he wrote for me.. it's something that still sends a tingle down my spine..

This might sound a lil silly, considering we were both really young, but thats what love was back then , naive , immature , unsophisticated , uncomplicated yet ever so charming !! It still is the most beautiful part of our lives but you know what I mean ;)

I don't know why but the woman in her is attracting me, pulling me closer.. appealing to me , to love her and kiss her yet again ..

I don't know why but I am unable to resist her glowing face, her twinkling eyes and her seductive smile ,

this all's pulling me like a magnet attracts iron ..

She has that expression on her face which has something, something eternal about it..

The God within me is urging me to love her, love her as if you (me) are going to succumb the very next moment.. Give her everything you have .Treat her like a goddess coz she's the one who'll give you real happiness and set you free..

Each time I look into her eyes, I hear them saying ,

"Give me love, make me experience the height of passion and the madness in you. Love me wild, love me hard, love me with complete abandon, love me till you feel a part of a whole another world, our world . "

I think I've fallen in love with her all over again and this time its supernormal or shall I say supernal .

Now I'll love her more than I ever did , coz I want her to marry me , only me ..
She belongs to me and I can't afford to lose her..

Call it possessiveness or any damn thing but she's MINE

and to her I belong.

for my adorable grandparents who celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary y'day ..

I am so happy we got to spend some amazing time together ..Thank you for all the thoughtful things that you've done and all that you continue to still do ..

Love you guys and hope we'll make it to your milestone someday..

for being in Chicago aka Windy City or more apt for now Snowy Windy City ..

I wanted to travel someplace new for our 4th anniversary this year and here I am ..

Thank you my darling hubs for always always making my every wish come true ..

Feeling terribly happy and blessed !!!

Love byte # 26 - The Anniversary

Love is the day i proposed and he accepted and that day is today ie 26th Feb .. While i still deem it to be the luckiest day ..he calls it the beginning of the end of his lucky days of life :P .. and that i presume is a man's way of showing his love .. I have always been his scape goat , the butt end of all his jokes and in reply to a really close friend who asked me , " what is a man's perspective on love ? " ..i'd say its simple .. a man doesn't put much thought into love ..he is not always vocal , if he is , he can be pretty dumb with his words not to mention his actions ..He won't always get you cards that speak volumes or flowers that serenade you ... he won't always listen to you when you're talking.. he'd rather have beer than share a cuppa coffee but saying that, i also know that a man is like wine , the older the relationship gets , the better he gets .. and more importantly just because he doesn't love you the way you think he should , doesn't mean he doesn't love you at all ..

I maybe wrong because i don't know many men but i know mine and for him ..his wife is his best friend , his confidante , his lover and his partner for life ...someone he fights with and argues with but someone he also pampers and adores , and i am one hell of a lucky woman :) *Touchwood*

I wouldn't have it another way , my love and thank you for loving me the way you do ..

Cheers to us and the beginning of another memorable year ..

I bid adieu to my friends last evening and today life is back to its same old routine ..

Hubby's back to his work , I am doing the usual household chores ..I have the tv on for company , there are songs playing on my lappy but the house still feels a little empty as if reverberating my feelings of loneliness .. but I guess life's like that , there are fun times and good times followed by boring and sad times and then again fun times ... and then again as I write that I know I have no reason to mope and plenty to celebrate because when the party's over Love is all about throwing a party for two ..So I'm giving cooking a break today and we're going to gorge on some slurrrrrpilicious pizza and watch " The Hangover " together ..

I am feeling extremely sappy today ..I received a surprise Valentine's day gift in todays mail ..but hold on , that aint the reason , what surprised me even more than the gift was the fact that hubby didn't even let me get a whiff of what he was planning ..but gift or no gift I am on top of the world because its always the thought that counts most ..

Love Byte # 3 - Married Life

Sooner or later in life , you meet your better half and when you do , you realize why he alone is the one for you , you realize why all your previous relationships were such a disaster .. you realize that when its not meant to be , its always a fight and when its destined , all the pieces of the puzzle seem to fit just right ..

For me , Marriage was the next level in our relationship , I knew it would strengthen and solidify our bond of love ..but then again if you're one of those who's thinking why people get married at all , then read on ..its one of my favorite quotes on marriage, from a movie Shall we Dance starring Richard Gere and this famous quote is what his wife Susan Sarandon says to him ..

"Why is that people get married ?

because we need a witness to our lives ..

There's a billion people on the planet

what does any one life really mean ?

But in a marriage , you're promising to care about everything ..

The good things , the bad things , the terrible things , the mundane things ,

All of it ... all the time , every day .

You're saying-Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it..

Your life will not go unwitnessed - because i will be your witness."

I guess it simply means that Marriage brings a whole new meaning to the word Love. Its a promise you make to each other because its no longer about You or Me , its joined together and metamorphosized into " WE " .

Love Byte # 1 - Gambler's Choice

Love always is a gamble but then as I learnt back in school ..greater the risk , greater the reward and so when I faced the eternal dilemna of should I, should I not.. I chose to take the plunge ..

Looking back now, it seems so innocent , all I wanted to do was proclaim my love to this one guy , all I wanted to do was tell him I had the *hots* for him .. and I did and he rejected me ..

I was hurt but I wasn't willing to give up , not yet ...Maybe it was the gambler in me that spurred me on , maybe it was the best move or possibly the worst one I was going to make but I knew if I won, it would be happiness and love..If I lose..well I dint give it much thought.. all I knew and cared about was that *he* was worth taking a chance..

And that chance , that gamble gave me everything in life I hoped for and wanted ..

So take that chance today , whether its the love of your life , a new job, a dream house, anything you set your heart on.. If its worth the gamble, the reward is ever deserving :)
