Before I apologise for disappearing on you let me wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving first ..Its the time of the year when family gets together, eats together and most importantly prays together ..thanking the Lord above for his infinite blessings and I hope each one of you is truly happy and content today and everyday ..
Now for where I disappeared , well lets just say Thanksgiving came a lil early for me... pretty much the whole of last month I spent , back home in India with family and friends .. and am I thankful ? You bet ..even though it was a last min trip,a trip that was initially planned for the month of December ..I'm smiling
even though hubs couldn't be part of this trip back home .I'm smiling
even though I was sick for pretty much the last fortnight of my trip ..I'm smiling ..
even though I couldn't touchbase with as many friends as I would have liked..
I'm smiling ..
coz not just today but everyday of my life ..my mantra / my goal is to try and be thankful for what I have ..for NOW ..for what life brings my life today.. coz who knows what lies in store tomorrow.. what I do know is that either way things are a lot better - a lot better than they were or a lot better than they're going to be ... so count your blessings and enjoy/ cherish every moment ..I'll leave you with this forward that is just perfect for today ..
BE THANKFUL
Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference.
It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.
Happy Thanksgiving y'all :)
